Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Park Zoo required a comprehensive re-branding and creative refresh to help make it more appealing to new visitors. We found that the previous experience at the zoo was let down by a theme dominated by woods and darker colours, making it feel more mature and serious. We recognised that the zoo was a place for families with young children to spend a fun day out, so we sought to inject more fun and colour into the experience and brand identity.

Together with our local UAE team Sui Generis we developed a brighter style with the introduction of original characters and illustrated elements. The ongoing project involves hundreds of signage items in themed areas, promotional items, kiosks and event marketing, with a website and app coming in the near future. All items were created in both English and Arabic.
