The challenge: Creating an online halal food guide that appeals to a younger generation of Muslim foodies looking for exceptional food experiences.
Halal Gems is an online portal dedicated to halal dining. What makes it different to others is the target audience: Muslim millennials.
We had the understanding that a large segment of this target audience not only appreciate halal food, but consider themselves to be foodies, and have high expectations when it comes to digital experiences and design.
